Grace

This morning, on my way out the door, my daughter said for the very first time, unprompted, "I love you, Daddy."

Those are deeply magical words, my friends.

I love you, too, little girl.

One of the reasons she loves you is that you take her to Faulkner soccer matches.

No doubt there. The afternoon before Natalie went into labor, I went to see the ROchester College men's team play. My girl decided she was feeling a little left out and decided to make an early appearance! Now I get to indocrinate her in the good game. (We've already been watching the Premiership on Fox Sports!)

That's sweet.

Wait until you get an unsolicited "I love you" from a teenager.

By that time, they have enough reasons to NOT love you but express it anyway.

I wonder what he's up to?

That is beautiful and I can't wait for the day that Logan does the same for me.

Eric, Logan and I have also been watching the Premiership on Fox Soccer Channel. I never thought I would be much of a proponent for any type of fox product but the FSC has the best footie coverage here in these united states.

Espn is rocking some UEFA cup matches from time to time but they usually aren't live.
