Working Theory

The classroom is more important than the courtroom.

On weeks like this, the courtroom is my classroom, and I feel more joy for a student who gets a good result for a client than I ever did for myself.

I know that feeling too.

I have a young intern, who over the past 3 months, has gone from a timid demeanor and deer-in-the-headlamps look to confident clinician who can handle a heavy and complex patient load. She even argues with me now over treatment plans.

To teach is to partner with God in the renewal and redemption of creation.
