Very well done--congrats.
I can see I have my work cut out for me. So, is there a marathon in your future?
Congrats brother. That's awesome stuff.
Mike, you have nothing to fear. A colleague and I decided last night to gear up for the Jingle Bell run to raise money for arthitis research here at Huntingdon. It's a 5K, and he's a serious runner and a much, much bigger field.

As for marathons, I do not think there is, and I am not sure I really want to at this point. First, I do not want to devote that amount of time while the girls are little, and I enjoyed going fast. I think I will dwell in 5K and 10K land for a while.
I can understand that. But I'm betting that "going the distance" will eventually have its lure.
And just a thought: I found it easier to train for a marathon when the boys were younger (before all their activities kicked in full swing). Then I went through a few years where I had no time to seriously train. Now I suddenly have more time--but a bad back!
Carpe Diem (that's the motto on my RoadID wristband, BTW)
Great job, Jeff! I saw Jen's post but I didn't recall a notation of the time. Glad to see you came in UNDER your goal! You must be on a real runners "high".
Congrats!
