A Forum for the Fellas, their Friends and Families. The Fellas are a cohort of brothers whom the Lord saw fit to draw together in friendship and adventure in His Kingdom.
From hermit to monastic-wannabe, I have been fighting the temptation to get cable as well. Instead, I am just sniffing out football fans who might be interested in having a little company over for the game!
OOOOOOOOO, the temptation is almost more than I can bear! Of course, it just hit me that Rochester College has a big screen TV in the student center that gets cable. That might be my new evil plan!
I would recognize you because I looked up your faculty website, assuming that I found the correct Jeremy, teaching Spanish Lit at a public, urban university in Atlanta, with a Ph.D. from Emory. Are there more than one?
On eremitic calling another "wanker"! This is a beautiful world in which we live. Speaking of monastic types, have any of y'all read Hendra's Father Joe? Brilliant read. I highly recommend it. Beautiful look at the spiritual journey and about the power of one person to influence the lives of others (and that is just a brief mention of its value.)
On the way to the office today, I was listening to Sheamus talk about the World Cup on NPR. Not the first place I would go for all things the Cup, but they actually have some great stuff on their site regarding the games that will stop the world for the next month. Check it out here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5455046
It's not so much a matter of stalking the wanker but a blogging hobby. You should Elrod's emails behind the scenes to plunge the ugly depths of internet anonymity.
I do hope, however, that none of my potential new students resort to Dr. P's condom tactics.
By the way, Greg. I hope the move to PA is shaping up well.

Would that be 1982?
If so, I'm a little astonished that we all trucked through Searcy without meeting.
The other Fellas here and I were there from 93 to 97. Is that your era, too?
Even worse, were we best friends, and I forgot about it?

We'll have you over, E. We have cable, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN4, ESPN5 and Classic. You won't miss a game. Come on down.

Now you've got me curious. Who WERE you before the hermit conversion?

Finally. A post on real football.
Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole!
